COMPANY'S ACHIEVEMENT

The activities of Tamilnadu Police Housing Corporation during this year  (2003 - 2004) ended with a net profit of Rs. 86.67 lakhs. The Company has proposed to declare dividend of Rs. 30.00 lakhs on a paid up Share Capital of Rs. 100.00 lakhs. In the last eight years, the company has paid a total of Rs. 204.70 lakhs as dividend against Rs. 100.00 lakhs Share Capital.

ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION FOR TNPHC LTD.

There has been uniform appreciation of the quality of construction and works carried out by Tamilnadu Police Housing Corporation. Since the TNPHC Ltd. is already committed to quality construction to strive to enhance the customer satisfaction in every direction, it is felt appropriate to get ISO 9001:2000 certification by evolving a Quality Management System more suited to the activities of the organization and effectively implementing the same. Hence during the last Annual General Meeting, the company is embarking upon obtaining ISO Certification for Total Quality Management System. The Quality Management System has been implemented in Tamilnadu Police Housing Corporation since 3.4.2003. The BVQI one of the ISO Certificate issuing authority conducted the audit in three stages and reviewed for the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. Finally the ISO 9001:2000 certificate has been issued on 12-12-2003 to Tamilnadu Police Housing Corporation.

COMPUTERISATION

Tamilnadu Police Housing Corporation is heading towards another milestone to achieve the concept of Paperless working in the Corporate and Division Offices through a customized integrated software network solutions using the appropriate state of art technologies. The LAN & WAN connectivity has been installed. Tamilnadu Police Housing Corporation has it's own website viz., www.tnphc.com which has been inaugurated by the Hon' ble Chief Minister on 03.03.2003. Tamilnadu Police Housing Corporation putting the information technology to its best use and made significant improvements in operational efficiency and cost savings.
